Happy Thanksgiving & Holiday Fun!

What a wonderful time of the year!

I love the holidays, and it was so much fun this year to visit my family up in St. Louis. We hadn't seen anyone since we had been married in August and it was great to see my brothers and sisters and my parents, Lon and Trudie.

The kiddos were so much fun. The newest addition to the St. Louis crew is Isabella. Apparently her and I are twins from a different mother :-) I told Bella that the chubby cheeks truly don't go away and she better get used to them. Tyesha was so afraid of us when we first came, but I finally charmed that baby into liking me again! It was hard to leave them when they were putting out their lower lips and saying "Sissy Dani I want you to stay here!" Luckily we are going up for Christmas as well, so I was able to promise them that I wouldn't be gone long.

We totally went Black Friday shopping, but NOT at 4am or midnight. We still got some great deals at Old Navy and Maurices. I still absolutely love the store Charming Charlie. Too bad I haven't found it anywhere except in St. Louis. 

My brother McKeon gave his farewell talk on Sunday to go on his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Torreon, Mexico. He did an amazing job and we are going to miss him so much. I really feel that he already has a wonderful spirit with him that will follow him onto the mission. I cried like a baby when I had to say goodbye to him for two years! E-mail is such a blessing these days for families of the missionaries.

We bought ourselves a teeny tiny Christmas tree from Walmart and it fits our teeny little apartment very well. I'm so excited to share my first Christmas with Jed!! More pictures and holiday recordings to come!
